Volunteer packages are completely customizable.  You decide where you want to work, and for how long. Accommodations range from homestay to 4 star; it's up to you to choose.  Volunteer packages include accommodations, some or all meals, a donation to the charity, and can include airport transfers, daily transport, safaris or other excursions.

Prices quoted below are for single occupancy.  Double occupancy prices are lower. Contact us for more information.

Jinja, Uganda 

Option A) Private room 
A very quiet private room on The Nile River with toilet and shower under the same roof. They are situated about half way between Jinja town and Bujagali village. Package includes accommodations, all meals, donation to the charity and airport transfers (2.5 hours). 1 week packages $575 USD single, $500 double occupancy per person. 2 week packages $835 USD single, $815 double occupancy per person.

Option B) Banda (cabin)
Banda accommodations at a resort with private toilet and shower, all breakfasts, dinner once per week with a local family, donation to the charity and airport transfers (2.5 hours).  Amenities include a large garden, lounge with satellite TV, pool table and western restaurant.  1 week packages $700 USD single, $535 - $585 double occupancy per person.  2 week packages $1075 USD single, $825 - $920 USD double occupancy per person.

Option C) Homestay
Stay with a local family. A basic room with local facilities, 2 meals per day, donation to the charity and airport transfers (2.5 hours) are included. 1 week packages $550 USD single, $475 double occupancy per person.  2 week packages $795 USD single, $715 double occupancy per person.

Option D) Luxury
Resort accommodations, all breakfasts included, dinner once per week with a local family, donation to the charity and airport transfers (2.5 hours).  Amenities include swimming pool and western restaurant. 1 week packages $1065 USD single, $790 USD double occupancy per person.  2 week packages $1815 USD single, $1335 USD double occupancy per person.

Option E) Volunteer house
A shared volunteer house includes meals, donation to the charity and airport transfers (2.5 hours). One house is located near Mafubira village and the other is in Jinja town.  1 week packages $490 USD single, $475 double occupancy per person.   2 week packages $795 USD single, $780 double occupancy per person 

Mbale, Uganda 

Option A) Orphanage
Live and work at the orphanage. Airport transfers (5 hours) , room and board included, donation to the charity.  1 week packages $740 USD single, $600 double occupancy per person.  2 week packages $1045 USD single, $955 double occupancy per person.

Option B) Hotel
Various hotel accommodations include breakfast daily, donation to the charity and airport transfers (5 hours).  1 week packages $995 USD single, $695 double occupancy per person.  2 week packages $1520 USD single, $1175 double occupancy per person.

Mombasa, Kenya

Option A) Homestay
Lovely homestay including 2 meals per day, donation to the charity and airport transfers.  1 week packages $845 USD single, $895 double occupancy per person.  2 week packages $1635 USD single, $1575 double occupancy per person.

Moshi, Tanzania 

Option A) Homestay
Lovely homestay including breakfasts, dinners, airport transfers, daily transfers to the volunteer site, and donation to the charity.  1 week packages $840 USD single, $710 double occupancy per person.  2 week packages $1395 USD single, $1200 double occupancy per person.

Nairobi, Kenya 

Option A) Homestay
Homestays including breakfast, dinner, airport transfers, donation to the charity, and private transport to and from the work site 5 days a week.  1 week package $730 USD single, $610 double occupancy per person, 2 week packages $1185 USD single, $1045 double occupancy per person.

Nairobi has a wide range of hotels that can be included in a custom volunteer package, including donation to the charity and daily private transport to your volunteer work site.

Nanyuki has a range of hotels that can be included in a custom volunteer package. Your package will include accommodations, breakfasts, donation to the charity, and private transport to and from Nairobi airport (2 hours drive).  

Nyeri, Kenya

Option A) Homestay
Homestays including breakfast, dinner, donation to the charity, daily transport to the work site, and private transport to and from Nairobi airport (2 hours drive).  1 week packages $535 USD single, $430 double occupancy per person.  2 week packages $775 USD single, $665 double occupancy per person.

Nyeri has a range of hotels and guest houses that can be included in a custom volunteer package.

Ruhengeri, Rwanda

Option A) Homestay
Homestay with the founders of the charity include meet at airport and transfer to Ruhengeri, room, meals, donation to the charity and transport to and from the work site daily.  2 week package $915 USD per person.

Option B) Hotels
Ruhengeri has a wide range of guest houses and hotels that can be included in a custom volunteer package, including donation to the charity and daily transport to your volunteer work site.
