SAFARI ITINERARY
Day 1 - Friday
Our trip begins from either Jinja and/or Kampala collecting clients for our Murchison Falls Adventure Safari. We make a brief stop at Garden City, Kampala to get some last minute food items before heading north through the famous Luwero Triangle. From there we stop at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, where you have the option of walking through a national reserve, getting up close and personal to the newly reintroduced White Rhino, of which there are six. Afterwards we drive to Masindi and arrive in time for dinner.

Day 2 – Saturday
It's an early start and after a light breakfast you head off for an optional guided trek through the Budongo Forest Reserve in search of man’s closest relative, the chimpanzee. The sounds of the chimps carry through the forest, so approaching and watching these creatures in their natural habitat is a fantastic wildlife viewing experience. We return to our vehicle and drive into Murchison Falls National Park and have lunch at the Red Chilli Campsite. In the afternoon we jump aboard the Paraa ferry and take the short journey across the Nile and onto the Northern bank of the park. We game drive through the park around to the beautiful Delta Point and set up our camp against the back-drop of the Blue Mountains of the Congo. With a sundowner in our hand we’ll arrange our chairs around the fire and tuck into a splendid meal - spending the rest of the evening telling stories, hearing tales about the park from our local ranger and listening to the sounds of the wild that are only a few metres away!

Day 3 – Sunday
You'll be up with the sun this morning as we go for an early morning game drive. Returning to camp, you have breakfast before packing up your tents and game driving back through the park, towards the ferry. After another lunch at the Red Chilli Campsite we head to the jetty for the infamous boat trip on the placid Victoria Nile, which will carry you to the base of Murchison Falls. En-route you’ll see a variety of animals - hippos, crocodiles, waterbuck, elephants and incredible birdlife, all drinking at the water’s edge. The boat stops around 50 metres from the base of the falls, allowing ample time to take some wonderful photos. From there we jump onto the bank for a guided hike to the top of the falls and into the bat cave. Our final night is spent camping next to this outrageously impressive volume of water.
