Itinerary
Day 1 Amboseli
Leave Nairobi for Amboseli National Reserve, located at the foot of Africa's highest mountain, 5895 meter Mount Kilimanjaro. We will arrive at Serena Lodge in time for Lunch. Enjoy your first 2 hour afternoon game drive in Amboseli where the snows of Mount Kilimanjaro form a majestic backdrop to one of Kenya's most spectacular displays of wildlife - lion, elephant, leopard, rhino, cheetah, and buffalo. Drive back to lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 2 Ngorongoro
Arise early for a morning game drive. After breakfast at the lodge, we leave Amboseli and proceed across the Tanzania border, stopping in Arusha for lunch on route. We arrive at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge late in the afternoon for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3 Ngorongoro
After an early breakfast we will drive down into the crater with a picnic lunch in search of some of the 20,000 large mammals that reside there. You may be lucky enough to spot a Black Rhino or a magnificent black-maned lion. Other big game in the park include elephant, leopard, cheetah, warthog, buffalo, hartebeest, and eland among many others. Over 100 species of birds, including flamingos, are found here. Then back to Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 4 Serengeti
Leave Ngorongoro very early for the drive to Serengeti National Park. Lunch is served upon your arrival at Serengeti Sopa Lodge. Later, enjoy a 2 hr game drive as 14,763 square Kms of rolling plains await you. The magnificent wildlife migration occurs here every year when over 2 million animals move north to the adjoining Kenya’s Maasai Mara National Reserve in search or greener pastures, and back again. Besides the numerous zebras and wildebeests, the park hosts rhino, giraffe, topi, elephant, lion, leopard, cheetah, jackals, hyena, hippo and much more.
Day 5 Lake Manyara
Another early wakeup call will be followed by a morning game, then back to Serengeti Sopa Lodge for breakfast. At 0930hrs you will leave Serengeti National Park for Lake Manyara National Park, arriving at Lake Manyara Serena Lodge in time for lunch. Later, you will be treated to an afternoon game drive in search of wildebeests, buffalo, elephant, impala, hyena, baboon, giraffe, and hippo. Later you will drive back to Lake Manyara Serena Lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 6 Depart
An early call will be followed by a morning game drive, then back to the lodge for breakfast. We will then leave Lake Manyara National Park with a picnic lunch, stopping at Namanga border area before proceeding back to Nairobi. Transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your flight back home.
Includes accommodations, meals as indicated, park entry fees, all activities listed, return ground transport, and services of driver/guide. Not included are tips, souvenirs, all beverages and items of a personal nature.
